Facing Terra
The surface is ground on all sides to a textured and reflective finish. The top of this work is accented by a cobalt blue glass orb which depicts the earth. The front view of Terra reveals two aspects of a woman. Does she posses breasts or arms that reach up to embrace her face which is the earth. From the side, a profile of a man gazes outward through his blue eyed world. The woman is looking for answers within while the man searches them out demonstrating the coexistence of two equally valid prospectives at odds with each other and occupying the some space. $18,100.00
